Declutter: The first thing you have to do is to get rid of the items you don’t need or use at all. In the kitchen, we have appliances and furniture and other things we rarely use. For instance, you might not need to use a blender today but it would be nice to have one if ever you want to enjoy a fruit shake one day in the future. Those things can be kept. But try to declutter and dispose of things you don’t use at all such as old utensils, appliances that aren’t working, etc.

Use Overhead Space: Overhead or floating space can be very useful when you want to hang utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items that you want to keep within reach.

Organize Items According to Frequency of Use: Same thing with the blender, the appliances and things you rarely use would be better kept at the back of a cabinet or shelf. Those that you want to use more often should be within reach.

Make Use of Cabinets and Shelves: If you want to increase kitchen storage space, the best thing to do about it is to install cabinets and shelves.
